I have a somewhat non-linear path in healthcare leadership. But, I can tell you, unequivocally, that today I hold my dream job at Creighton University. I tell people very frequently that I hope I retire from Creighton, and I mean that with my whole heart. In my “day job”, I am the Director of Healthcare Leadership programs, the Program Director for an Executive MBA in Healthcare Management, and the Assistant Dean for Physician Leadership Education. My role is one part educator, one part program director, one part student advisor. Teaching, building relationships, and mentoring? Check. Check. Check.
